Global Financial Firm located in Jersey City, NJ has an immediate contract for an experienced Data Center Consultant 12 Month Contract Hybrid- Onsite Rate: $591/daily on JOB DESCRIPTION Duties in Scope Installing and un-installing hardware in the Data Center Running UTP and fiber cables in the Data Center Provide and maintain data cabling and associated documentation within the data center. Managing a DCIM tool Perform basic network troubleshooting/diagnosis Utilize network test equipment including a power meter and light source, CAT 6 Cable Tester. Provide support at multiple sites stretching across multiple cities. Replace defective components and test the final product to assure that quality requirements are met Communicate effectively in tickets, emails or messaging applications with management and peers Good organization skills.
