Accounting Manager Full-Time | Hybrid (Flexible Schedule) Job Summary The Accounting Manager will oversee a portfolio of bookkeeping clients, primarily homeowners associations (HOAs), ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and timely delivery of accounting services. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a background in public accounting or property management who is comfortable managing multiple clients and working independently in a flexible environment. Key Responsibilities Manage accounting and bookkeeping services for approximately 30 HOA clients. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for assigned clients. Review and prepare financial statements, general ledger activity, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and HOA-specific requirements. Serve as the primary accounting contact for assigned clients, addressing questions and providing guidance. Review work completed by bookkeeping staff or junior accountants, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Coordinate with external auditors, tax preparers, and other third parties as needed. Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy across client accounts. Maintain organized records and documentation for all assigned entities.
