Job Details Build & Lead the Compliance Function Develop, initiate, and maintain a comprehensive corporate compliance program tailored to a multi‑state healthcare environment. Build the compliance department from scratch, including staffing, policy infrastructure, and reporting structures. Training & Culture Development Lead compliance education programs for all employees, including new‑hire onboarding, role‑based training, and Board‑level sessions. Incident Investigation & Reporting Oversee investigations of alleged violations, improper conduct, or breaches of compliance policies; recommend and implement corrective actions. Maintain confidential reporting channels and ensure compliance with whistleblower protections. Report regularly to the Board on compliance performance, risks, and remediation progress. Cross‑Functional & Board Collaboration Partner with clinical, legal, operations, HR, and IT leadership to resolve compliance issues efficiently. Serve as a direct advisor to the Board of Directors regarding compliance status and organizational obligations. Skills & Experience You Need Must‑Have Qualifications Public company experience AND healthcare industry experience Extensive leadership experience in compliance within a regulated healthcare environment. Proven ability to develop and manage enterprise‑wide compliance programs. Deep working knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, CMS, OIG guidance, Stark, AKS, etc.).
