We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator – Press to join our team. In this role, you will operate punch presses, overhead presses, and rotary presses while ensuring all products meet our quality and safety standards. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, consistency, and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities Verify materials before setup, including part numbers, shelf life, and inventory tags. Immediately notify your supervisor if materials do not meet shelf-life or quality requirements. Review all job documentation, including Work Sheets/Travelers, inspection reports, dimensional specs, packaging, and handling requirements. Set up and adjust press equipment to ensure products meet all specifications. Inspect dies to confirm they match job requirements and report any issues or damage. Perform in-process inspections as outlined in work instructions. Monitor equipment performance and notify supervision of any quality, process, or mechanical concerns. Track standard vs. actual run times on new jobs and alert supervision if expectations cannot be met. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment. Additional Duties Maintain a clean and organized workspace using 5S principles. Perform routine preventive maintenance as outlined in machine manuals and logs. Support team operations by completing additional tasks as assigned by management.
