Job Summary $20,000 sign on bonus for eligible applicants Tues- Friday No weekends This posting reflects an opening for a CT Technologist I and we are seeking candidates for that position. Geisinger reserves the right to consider applicants for higher levels of this role to include CT Technologist II based on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Under general supervision of the Radiologist and the following established duties and responsibilities, performs CT procedures to acquire digital images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Job Duties Provides technical expertise to operate CT Scanners, power injectors and computer systems to acquire images for use by the radiologist in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. CT technologist must maintain the knowledge to operate different CT Systems at multiple locations. Maintain protocols that are based on Image Gently Guidelines and CT scanner’s integration into a program that compiles dose data from each scan performed and notifies the user when a scan exceeds specific preset levels. Maintain vast knowledge of all clinical histories to match appropriate protocols and knowledge of all major organ systems and vascular systems for Thoracic, Abdominal, Pelvic, Neuro systems and Muscular Skeletal. Obtains CT images according to established protocols. In doing so, ensures the patient is properly prepared, positioned, immobilized, protective shielding used when applicable and correct technical factors are selected. Perform CT Interventional Procedures. Performs CTA imaging: Carotid, Head, Vertebral, Run-Offs, PE critical bolus timing, including Advanced CTA studies such as TAVR(Trans Catheter Aortic Valve Replacement), EVAR(Endovascular Aneurysm Repair) and Cardiac imaging. Maintains working knowledge of pharmacology to ensure lab results are obtained prior to scheduled exam. Maintain knowledge of physiology needed to produce quality scans when ideal conditions cannot be met. Maintain knowledge of physics to lower patient dose on CT scanner. Interpret technical factors to increase quality or speed of scan. Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Job Type: Full Time REPRESENTATION UNIT: Administration Rate: $96,829 per year and Comprehensive benefits package Inland Regional Center, a non-profit agency that provides support to people with intellectual disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy through the Inland Empire since 1972 has an exciting job opportunity for a Staff Psychologist to work out of our San Bernardino, CA office. Your primary responsibility is to provide assessment and consultation services to all referred consumers but principally those whose eligibility for services are being assessed. Consult with staff and other community agencies. Offer clinical supervision to Psychological Assistant. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete psychological assessments as assigned and complete necessary paperwork, reports, etc. on a timely basis. On referral, perform and interpret psychological and behavioral assessments, formulate diagnoses and write related reports on a timely basis. Effectively communicate findings to consumers, family members, professionals and other appropriate individuals, daily. Daily, work cooperatively and effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team. As assigned, complete psychological assessments requested by the court. Through reviews of developmental or psychological assessments, assess consumer eligibility. Record findings in an eligibility statement. As assigned provide clinical oversight and guidance to other clinical staff. Formulate, monitor, and revise treatment plans as requested. Code CDERs daily as required. Participate in all aspects of the fair hearing process and in various judicial processes as required. Upon request, review behavioral programs/proposals for Level 4 facilities and others. Provide routine consultation, education and training to staff, community agencies, parents and consumers. Complete necessary forms for consumers to obtain various public benefits. Offer guidance and assistance in formulating agency policies and procedures as they relate to eligibility and clinical treatment issues. As assigned, represent IRC at case conferences and interagency meetings. Keep manager informed of pending work, work in progress and any problems encountered. Aggressively seek out opportunities to maintain currency and to expand relevant knowledge base particularly as it relates to eligibility or treatment issues. Attend training sessions as required and stay current with California Board of Psychology licensure requirements. Maintain good standing with the California Board of Psychology Use equipment appropriately and report any need for repairs; keep work area neat and orderly and free from hazards. Utilize IRC’s IT systems as assigned, maintaining security and following IRC protocols, procedures, rules and requirements. Observe all safety rules and comply with IRC’s Injury and Illness Prevention Plan and Workplace Violence Prevention Plan. Comply with IRC’s Personnel policies and procedures. Perform different or additional duties as assigned. MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS: PH.D. or Psy. D. in clinical psychology, or within six months of completing the graduate degree program. One year of responsible professional experience including substantive experience in testing and diagnostic evaluation of individuals with developmental disabilities, physical handicaps, emotional/mental disturbances, or learning disorders is preferred but not required. Possession of a license as a psychologist issued by the California Board of Psychology. A pre-licensed psychologist will be considered if they are in the process of completing their licensure requirements. Bilingual preferred but not required. Ability to handle change well and be flexible and adaptable in dealing with interruptions, new priorities, and new assignments. Ability to follow oral and written direction. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Good verbal and written communication skills.
