Haltom City's facilities maintenance staff is growing by one to keep up with the maintenance needs of current and new buildings opening soon. We are looking for a jack of all trades when it comes to taking care of facilities. Our facilities include a city hall scheduled to open in 2024, a new police station, a recreation center, library, public works facilities, fleet services, an animal shelter and three fire stations. In this position, you will work both in a group and independently responding to work orders such as to change out light bulbs and/or air filters, handle small electrical repairs, minor plumbing and HVAC, irrigation repair, digging and running small equipment. If the sewer line is stopped up, you may use a sewer snake or sewer jet the line to resolve the issue without having to call a plumber. Although much of this work is done at ground level, someone who is afraid of heights may have difficulty climbing on top of buildings to inspect roofs, replace filters, inspect AC units, repair minor roof leaks, evaluate roof drainage systems and/or to clean roofs. You may also be called upon to trim trees to keep branches and leaves from damaging city facilities. For jobs that cannot be performed in-house, you may need to dispatch the appropriate contractor to a jobsite to make repairs. Responsibilities: Performs technical and patient care functions during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiovascular and Electrophysiology labs. Monitors and maintains equipment. May serve in the role of charge or lead. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Qualifications: Job Requirements: Associate's degree in either nursing or radiology, or a graduate of an allied health accredited program, including EMTs, Paramedics, or Respiratory Therapists. Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. ACLS; Radiologic Technologist Certificate (RT), EMT, Paramedic, or Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Preferred Job Requirements: Radiology Tech or EMT-Paramedic. One (1) year of previous job-related experience. Clinical educational experience may be substituted for work experience. Advanced credentialing in cardiovascular and electrophysiology is strongly recommended. RCIS, RCES, RCVT, ARRT(RT(R)), CV, CI, or VI.
