OpenShift Developer/Admin
Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking an OpenShift Developer-Admin to join our team. Employer asks for I-9 information. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Proven experience as an OpenShift Certified Developer, with practical experience deploying and managing applications on OpenShift. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Oracle SQL development, including advanced querying, stored procedures, and database optimization. Demonstrated experience as an OpenText Content Server Administrator/Developer, including configuration, customization, and user support. Experience with C# development. Proficiency in front-end web development technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery, Ajax, etc.). Strong experience with Linux and Windows server administration. Experience with Tomcat administration, including deployment and troubleshooting. Familiarity with network administration concepts and troubleshooting. Proven ability in creating and managing technical documentation. Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) certification or equivalent experience in knowledge management principles. Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, certificate management, and secure coding practices. Experience with various API integrations (e.g., REST, SOAP). RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, and implement solutions using Java, C#, JavaScript (including jQuery, Ajax), HTML, and CSS, ensuring clean code and optimal performance. Develop and manage applications within an OpenShift environment, leveraging containerization and orchestration best practices. Develop, optimize, and maintain Oracle SQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data integrity. Administer and develop solutions for OpenText Content Server, including configuration, workflow design, and user support. Create, maintain, and manage comprehensive technical documentation for systems, applications, and processes. Apply Certified Knowledge Manager principles to organize, share, and leverage institutional knowledge effectively. Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows server environments, ensuring system stability, security, and uptime. Manage and configure Tomcat application servers, optimizing performance and resolving issues. Implement and enforce security best practices across all managed systems and developed applications, including certificate management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver successful project outcomes. Participate in solution architecture discussions to design scalable, secure, and efficient systems. Conduct thorough testing of applications and systems to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
