Progressive Emergency Physicians is seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine, Family Practice or Internal Medicine physicians to staff the Department of Emergency Medicine operated Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) at Good Samaritan University Hospital. The CDU is a collaborative environment for physicians to practice observation medicine. The unit manages >20 patients daily and is staffed by Attending physicians, physician assistants and resident rotators. A metric-driven approach is utilized to deliver best practice patient care and outcomes. C ompensation starting at $250k and partnership opportunity. Our Facility Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, a member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island, is a 537-bed (including 100 nursing home beds), not-for-profit hospital serving the communities on the south shore of Long Island in West Islip, New York. The emergency department's staff includes physicians, nurses, and physician assistants who are trained and experienced in responding to emergent medical problems in patients of all ages. Approximately 90,000 injured or ill adult and pediatric patients are treated every year in the emergency department.
