PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION Preparation of food for patient service, cafeteria service or special catered events in accordance with BVHS and Sodexo standard methods, recipes, special diets or as directed by the Manager of Food and Nutrition. Responsibilities: Provide engineering support and leadership for the maintenance and troubleshooting of high-voltage electrical drives and large AC/DC motors across our manufacturing network. Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to deliver technical solutions for recurring design, process, and application challenges. Develop and deliver engineering training and documentation to ensure best practices are upheld in electrical safety and maintenance procedures. Actively manage and oversee electrical engineering projects, from design through installation and commissioning, ensuring timely completion within budget. Foster a culture of safety by facilitating discussions on safe work practices and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and procedures. Coordinate with external vendors to manage electrical design and support functions effectively. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution. 5 years of electrical engineering experience in a metals or heavy manufacturing environment. Proven experience with large AC/DC motors, automation, process control systems, drives, and PLCs. Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, industry safety standards, and related codes and specifications.
