Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Highlights • The pay for this position is $23.00–$26.00 per hour • Schedule: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM - Days off: Sun/Mon or Tue/Wed - Must be available any day of the week; schedule may change based on facility needs - Will work weekends and holidays if they fall on scheduled days • Onsite position • This position is a contract assignment Responsibilities • Administer nursing care within LPN scope of practice under supervision of an RN or licensed physician • Administer medications (oral, topical, rectal, intramuscular, and subcutaneous) • Perform wound care, sterile dressing changes, catheter insertions, suctioning, and specimen collection • Monitor patients during treatments and assist with procedures and examinations • Take and record vital signs; observe and document patient conditions and responses to treatment • Maintain accurate medication administration records and accountability logs • Assist patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, grooming, and repositioning • Respond to medical alarms and assist in emergency situations, including CPR • Maintain medication inventory, stock supplies, and ensure cleanliness of nursing stations and carts • Provide guidance to lower-level direct care staff and participate in team meetings and trainings Requirements • Active Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing • Current BLS/CPR certification • Knowledge of pharmacology, patient care standards, and HIPAA regulations • Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing • Must comply with facility security requirements (no cell phones, limited personal items, metal detector clearance required) Benefits Available • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment. • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
