In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and assembling the individual pages or sections (signatures) of a book in the correct order before they are fed into the Perfect Binder machines. Experience with Goss Perfect Binders is highly desirable . We will consider all candidates who have Gather experience. Our compressed work schedule is geared toward balancing work and family life. You will work 3 to 4, 12-hour days a week with opportunities for overtime (OT paid after 40 hours per week). There are two shifts; 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. -7 a.m. which will include weekends and holidays, working 3-4 days per week. Overtime is always a possibility but not guaranteed. These shifts do not rotate days to nights (and vice versa), but do rotate front half to back half of the week. At Quad, we value your experience. These positions are responsible for set up and operation of Press equipment to customer-supplied specifications while maintaining production by planning and organizing jobs and continuously monitoring quality. Additionally, operators are responsible for cleanliness and keeping press maintained mechanically. Some positions will have direct reports. Responsibilities Also Include Planning and organizing jobs by reviewing schedules and job tickets, identifying priorities, assigning roles, and maintaining production records. Monitoring signature quality by setting and monitoring color, maintaining register, fold, and compensation, and identifying and correcting problems. Setting up/operating equipment by setting up press computers, units, folder, and auxiliary equipment and performing preventative maintenance. Qualifications Successful candidates must meet the following requirements: Experience with the following Offset Press Equipment: Harris, Heidelberg, Goss, and/or Manroland. 2-3 years of previous Press Operator experience, including ability to web up press, be able to match the product to the sample from the customer is required. Strong mechanical aptitude is required. Must have eye/hand coordination when inside the unit while making adjustments. Must have ability to utilize the computer to ensure quality of the product. Ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, the ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally, stand long hours (8 or 12-hour shift), use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions and use vision in order to identify defects. We are seeking a passionate fixed income professional interested in playing a critical role in the investment decision making process. The Opportunity: As a Senior Portfolio Engineer covering Fixed Income at Fisher Investments you will collaborate with a team to develop and implement portfolio ideas and support our Investment Policy Committee's decision- making across all fixed income strategies. Further, you will lead efforts to scale fixed income strategies across our global client base and develop new strategies to address client objectives. You will work closely with our Research Analysts, Trading and Implementation peers and other Portfolio Engineers to develop expertise across aspects of portfolio management processes, including leading rebalances and overseeing trade life cycles.
