R&D Technician

Summary: Location: Miramar, FL Work Mode: Onsite Training Schedule: Up to 3 months, typically 3 days a week onsite from 6:30am – 3:00pm. Post-training hours fluctuate from 0 to 40 hours a week. Shift Schedule: Open availability required for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Typical schedule is 75% 1st shift and 25% 2nd shift. 1st Shift: Monday - Sunday 6:30AM to 3:00PM 2nd Shift: Monday - Sunday 2:30PM to 11:00PM 3rd Shift: Monday - Sunday 10:30PM to 7:00AM Responsibilities: Serve as an integral member of the site and study team during study processes, including pre-admit, admission, orientation, conduct, discharge, and study close. Perform conduct procedures in strict compliance with the study protocol, Good Clinical Practice standards, SOPs, QA/QC procedures, OSHA guidelines, and other regulations. Provide assistance in the execution of clinical trials. Ensure the well-being and safety of study participants. Provide administrative and operational support. Search participant luggage for contraband. Set up PK rooms according to study protocol needs. Perform venipuncture, EKG tracing, and vital sign collection per trial protocols and GCP standards. Execute specialized specimen collection, including urine collection and biological sample processing, ensuring sample integrity for laboratory analysis. Manage study-specific tasks such as meal distribution, dietary monitoring, and clinical flow support. Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D required. Completion of a formal Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant program, or equivalent verifiable clinical experience (e.g., 1 year in a clinical setting) required. One to two (1-2) years of experience in a clinical environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Preferred Skills: Able to obtain vital signs and perform ECGs. Able to perform telemetry and insertion of intravenous catheters, or a willingness to learn. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Able to work independently and handle multiple competing priorities. Able to work with tight deadlines. Able to function independently within a team environment. Excellent organizational and time-management skills and a strong attention to detail. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Warehouse Associate

Shift: 5:30am-Finish Monday-Friday schedule Must be able to speak and understand English.
