Nursing Coordinator-Operating Room (WMC)

Responsibilities : Determines staffing needs and schedules for 24 hour coverage of patient care needs. Supervises the assignment of patients and allocation of nursing staff according to patient needs, patient acuity, and staff skill mix. Functions as a clinical consultant for patients, families, department staff, physicians and other hospital departments. Troubleshoots clinical and operational matters collaboratively. Participates in the recruitment, interviewing and hiring of staff for the operating room.
