We are currently seeking candidates who are qualified for the role of Manual Machinist. This role will be in our machine shop department and will be responsible for performing manual milling/lathe machining to high tolerances from stainless steel, aluminum, bronze, and etc. Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to): · Machine complex components from a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminum, bronze, and etc. · Set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines to manufacture products, which meet client requirements. · Responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables to determine which machining operation needs to be performed and to best plan the sequence of operations. · Verify dimensions of machined parts or tooling using micrometers, Vernier calipers, and height gauges. · Perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during the production procedures. · Troubleshoot problems during machine operation. · Calibrate machines as required. · Maintain and clean tools before and after each shift. · Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out. · Ensure stocks of needed materials are ready and available at all times. · Create and maintain activity logs. · Other duties as required. Key Skill Requirements: · Must have strong work ethic and be able to work with minimal supervision · Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team Strong attention to accuracy and detail Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables Ability to machine to tight tolerances Key Education/Experience Requirements: · Must possess the ability to read blue prints and produce quality parts holding tight tolerances on an engine lathe and Bridgeport Milling machine · Must be able to run a large engine lathe with a 32" swing radius · Certified Machinist apprenticeship or equivalent is an asset · 3-5 years of Manual Milling experience (coop experience accepted) is required · 3-5 years of Lathe experience (coop experience accepted) is required · Experience using inspection tools (for example: Vernier calipers, height gauges, and dial indicators) is required · Interest in the nuclear or aerospace industry is preferred Application Information: This role is full time position, Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm. Electrician

Job Description Job Description Responsibilities: Performs all electrical tasks with minimal general supervision or direction. This employee may be part of a crew of journeyman and apprentices or the lead person supervising and directing the work of the crew. Licenses: Current driver’s license and have own transportation. Experience: Has five years or more of previous electrical experience. Testing: Drug Testing as required. Working Conditions: – Includes inside and outside in all elements of weather. Job requires working from all types of ladders, must have all required personal tools with them at all times including a tool belt to facilitate the proper placement of personal hand tools. Perform work at various heights, up to 90’ from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks or other safe work areas and/or platforms. Ability to work in restricted areas such as (switchgear rooms, underground electrical vaults, utility tunnels, crawl spaces and attic spaces). Employee must wear all proper personal protective equipment at all times as required for the specific job duties. Skill Level: Positively identify colors of wires, comprehends reading and drawing prints and schematics of same. Able to accurately make bends in conduit utilizing a hand bender or mechanical bender. Must be familiar with and have the ability to use all power tools, saws, conduit threading machines, wire pullers and knockout punches. Capable of digging trenches either by hand or with power equipment. Operate equipment such as backhoe’s, trenchers, lift trucks and excavators. Must adhere to company safety regulations, haz-com policy and lockout-tagout policy. Must be able to operate two handed tools/equipment such as cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools and jack hammers. Must be able to read and follow jobsite specific directions, specifications, instructional manuals and blueprints. Must be able to work from an aerial lift. Must be able to supervise jobsite employees such as other electricians and/or apprentice’s to complete an assigned project. Physical Function: Ability to lift 75 pounds. Climb Ladders of all types and sizes. Ability to perform overhead work for full day assignments. Must be able to gain employee access to jobsites. Possess good vision either normally or corrected.
