Employment Type: Full time Shift: Night Shift Description: Reporting to the Manager, Imaging Services, Radiology Administration, this position is responsible for performing CT procedures, providing patient care and physician assistance during the performance of those procedures. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology is required. Valid California Radiology Tech (CRT) certification from the State of California is required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required. American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) is required; advanced ARRT certification in (CT) also is required. Proof of venipuncture certification is required. Venipuncture competency must also be demonstrated and documented by the supervisor or his/her proxy within thirty (30) days of hire or transfer into position. Recent experience in CT is required, experience in an acute care setting is preferred. Ability to operate all CT equipment and perform all CT examinations independently (e.g., be able to protocol them or work in conjunction with the radiologist) is required. Must be seen as a resource throughout SAMC and be willing to actively participate on Hospital/Department committees as assigned. Ability to relate in a professional manner to patients, physicians, the public and other health care providers and demonstrate excellent customer service orientation is required. Nuclear I&C Electrical Hardware Engineer

Paragon Energy Solutions Paragon is seeking a Nuclear I&C Electrical Hardware Engineer to support the development of nuclear power plant control, monitoring, and safety systems. Responsibilities: Defining electrical hardware requirements for new hardware components, assemblies, and systems Preparing/reviewing design documentation, such as hardware drawings, wiring diagrams, failure modes and effects analysis, reliability calculations, hardware design specifications, power and heat calculations, test specifications, procedures, & reports, commercial grade dedication plans, etc. Collaborating with programmable logic engineers to ensure compatibility and integration with the hardware components Testing hardware prototypes and analyzing and documenting the results Troubleshooting and diagnosing errors and suggesting design modifications Overseeing the hardware vendors, contract manufacturers, manufacturing, and integration personnel to ensure end products meet the specified design Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar A minimum of 5 years of experience as a hardware design engineer or similar Experience working on nuclear safety related I&C system development projects, including equipment qualification, commercial grade dedication, and system implementation and test, is highly desirable Experience creating drawing packages that define large, complex assemblies such as I&C cabinets with nested bills of materials is highly desirable Experience in high-speed multi-layer PCB design is desirable Familiarity in the following areas is desirable but not required: SPI, serial, and Ethernet communication and networks Hardware implementations using FPGAs HDL languages such as VHDL PLC or DCS implementations, including 4-20mA signal loops, RTDs, thermocouples, solid state relays, analog to digital conversion, and digital to analog conversion Board design packages such as OrCAD and Altium Electrical design packages such as SolidWorks Electrical Hardware and system designs with multiple ground domains MATLAB and Simulink Wire routing and quality standards, including UL-508A, IEEE-384, IPC/WHMA-A-620 Proven ability to create real and positive change, think creatively and respond rapidly to changing priorities and customer needs Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, competing priorities and tight deadlines simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Why Paragon?
