Along with our Program Director and academic leadership team you will be joining General OB/GYNs, Gynecologic Surgeons, FPMRS, and MFM physicians. Responsibilities of the OB/GYN Hospitalist provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital setting, ensuring high-quality, round-the-clock care for patients. Responsibilities include managing labor and delivery, responding to obstetric emergencies, performing deliveries and surgical procedures, and collaborating with nurses, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes. Additionally, hospitalists provide consultative services, support emergency department evaluations, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. As part of a Graduate Medical Education (GME) program, the hospitalist will also play a key role in mentoring and supervising OB/GYN residents, providing hands-on training, overseeing clinical decision-making, and fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development.
