Accelerated Career Growth! Fun Company Activities! Job Details Job Details: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Permanent EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Manager to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in the manufacturing industry, ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees while maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The EHS Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of environmental, health, and safety issues, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of EHS programs and policies. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and company standards. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure safety measures are in place. Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Develop and deliver EHS training programs to educate employees about safety procedures, workplace hazards, and how to respond in emergency situations. Collaborate with management and staff to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all EHS-related activities, including incident reports, training records, and compliance documents. Act as the company's liaison with regulatory agencies, including OSHA, EPA, and state health departments. Continuously monitor and review EHS policies and practices to ensure they are current and effective, making changes as necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS role within the manufacturing industry. In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety and environmental standards. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation is preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels of the organization. Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience conducting incident investigations and risk assessments. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software. Ability to develop and deliver effective EHS training programs. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
