This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work in a collegial and stimulating environment. The successful candidate will have experience with high-net-worth clients, and will be responsible for advising and representing clients on matters related to estate planning, trust administration, and probate. This includes drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents, as well as handling probate and trust administration cases. This role requires a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle complex legal issues. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive legal advice and representation to clients on matters related to trusts, estates, and probate. Draft, review, and revise a variety of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, power of attorney, and health care directives. Manage all aspects of probate and trust administration, including court filings, asset distribution, and estate tax returns. Advise clients on wealth management strategies, tax planning, and other related matters. Stay updated on latest developments in trusts and estates law, and apply this knowledge to the benefit of our clients. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure a high level of client service and satisfaction. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, and uphold the firm's reputation for excellence in trusts and estates law. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. A minimum of 3 years of experience in trusts and estates law, with high-net-worth clients Admission to the IL state bar. Excellent legal research and writing skills. Proficiency in drafting and revising estate planning documents. Strong knowledge of tax laws and wealth management strategies. Ability to handle complex legal issues with minimal supervision. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. High level of professionalism and ethical standards. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
