Hospitalist - Physician

TeamHealth has a new day shift hospitalist opening at St. David's Georgetown Hospital in Austin, Texas. This is an established program between TeamHealth and HCA staffed with internal medicine hospitalists and nocturnists that are all local to Austin. Our physicians work a traditional 7-on, 7-off schedule. St. David's Georgetown has 118 beds but only 50 beds are handled by the hospitalist program. We are currently staffing with 2 daytime physicians (7a-7p); 1 swing physician (2p-7p), and 1 nocturnist physician (7p-7a). This is a closed ICU setting, averaging 20-22 total patient encounters per day shift clinician and an average of 7 admissions at night, seeing 60-70 cross coverage patients. Cardiology - Imaging - Physician

The CardioVascular Center (CVC) at Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Noninvasive Cardiologist with advanced cardiac imaging expertise (cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and echocardiography) and a strong interest in general cardiology to join our faculty. Complementary subspecialty interests (e.g., Nuclear Cardiology, Prevention) are welcome but not required. Division of Cardiology Overview: Integrated Healthcare: Tufts Medical Center is the academic flagship for the Tufts Medicine heath system. Team Driven: The CVC is comprised of a dynamic grouping of physicians involved in growing clinical programs across Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery and Vascular Surgery. Research Based: Cardiology research has a proven impact on patient care and outcomes. Specifically, the Divisions participate in the Cardiovascular Center for Research and Innovation as well as the Medical Center's Molecular Cardiology Research Institute. Our cardiovascular research programs receive substantial funding of $63 million to support clinical and basic research. Education: Our faculty are full-time academic staff members at Tufts University School of Medicine. Imaging Faculty actively teach and mentor across departments, including Radiology residents, Cardiology fellows, and the Advanced Cardiac Imaging fellow-reflecting our integrated imaging culture. Nationally Recognized: Our staff is amongst the nations' leaders in bringing advances in cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment. With one of the largest heart transplant programs in the country, Tufts achieved a record 70 transplants in 2024. The CVC offers highly specialized programs in structural interventions, HCM, rare cardiomyopathies, cardiac sarcoidosis, and ACHD, providing a high-complexity, academically rigorous clinical environment. Responsibilities: The Cardiologist will work with the Division of Cardiology and the CardioVascular Center at Tufts Medical Center in downtown Boston Transforming patient care: Provide care for patients with both outpatient and inpatient clinical service time, with a focus on advanced cardiac imaging (cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, echocardiography) and general cardiology. Teamwork: Collaborate closely with Advanced Heart Failure, Structural and Interventional, Electrophysiology, Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, and Radiology in a dynamic, academically collaborative imaging program. The faculty member will assist with imaging protocols, participate in multidisciplinary conferences, and teach to a broad range of learners. State of the art: Access to the latest imaging technologies, hybrid OR, and advanced diagnostic and therapeutic innovations. Work shift Full time role Requirements: BC/BE in Cardiovascular Diseases. Level III training in cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and echocardiography (current or anticipated board certification is recommended). Experience with multimodality imaging-including cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, transesophageal echocardiography, and stress echocardiography (/- nuclear cardiology-is ideal). Experience with imaging support for structural interventions is useful but not required. Interest in general clinical cardiology, ambulatory practice, and inpatient attending service is expected. Interest and experience in academics are highly desirable, with substantial opportunities for teaching.
