Job Summary MedTrans is Medline's private fleet of professional drivers that delivers our lifesaving medical products directly to both commercial and residential customers. Our fleet consists of 1,900 trucks that feature newer equipment. We manage a network of over 50 distribution centers nationally and provide 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States. The Driver is responsible for operating a Class A vehicle to transport life-saving medical products to our local customers. Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route. A Brief Summary of This Position This is an individual contributor position responsible for operating the Sub Arc Seam Welder to weld the seams of steel shafts. The Sub Arc Seam Welder is responsible for loading shafts into the welding machine with the use of a conveyor or an overhead crane and operating the seam weld positioning tuners. The Sub Arc Seam Welder must also position the piece through the weld head(s) as the weld is deposited to make a pole. The Sub Arc Seam Welder is also responsible for adjusting carriage speeds, side roll pressures, amperage and flux flow. The incumbent also assists with or operates an overhead crane or forklift in material or supply movement. The incumbent monitors the quality of incoming steel and determines when material is substandard, as well as reports damage to the product or machinery to the Utility Person or Lead Person. The person in this position also may be assigned to other work areas in production when the the machine is not running. Essential Functions Load steel shafts into Sub Arc Seam Welder. Machine weld the entire seem of steel shaft using the Sub Arc Seam Welder to make a steel pole. Monitor the quality of incoming steel shafts and determine when material is substandard. Operate a straightener to straighten the shafts after welding. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure incoming material and to verify that finished product meets specifications. Important Details about the Role Accurately read a tape measure. Pass an American Welding Society (AWS) welder operator qualification test for submerged arc welding (SAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW). Setup, operate, and perform general maintenance of equipment without difficulty. Make mathematical calculations in preparing product or setting up the machinery. Read and decipher blueprints and flat sheets without assistance and use them to properly weld scheduled work. This position reports into Production Supervisor. Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) No degree required. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with most frequent lift up to 20 pounds. The ability to read blueprints. Ability to use tape measure. What you'll be doing: TTEC is looking for an experienced Consultant, Solution Strategy & Design for BPO solutions to join our high performing team. Our team is growing quickly and we're looking for a positive, creative hard worker who is excited about the opportunity to fulfil the full range of presales responsibilities for our sales executives, client partners and operations teams, in developing winning solutions and proposals for our clients and prospects. During a Typical Day You'll: • Understand and translate buyer requirements into a detailed, compelling solution offering, implementation approach, solution overview, proposal and cost estimate leveraging TTEC processes, governance framework and using the right collection of offerings from TTEC and its partner network • Interface with the delivery organizations to ensure effective transition, shape services, collaborate on clear solution assumptions, and determine appropriate service delivery locations and related cost to deliver • Work in partnership as a key member of the sales team in designing a solution that aligns to the value proposition including business outcomes and business case • Coordinates and leads all solution design inputs from across all TTEC stakeholders and works with pricing to develop a commercial offer • Identify when it's appropriate to incorporate TTEC capabilities like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Analytics to differentiate solutions in a way that delivers measurable business outcomes for the client • Able to understand and articulate all details and specifications of the proposed solution. Is analytical and can back up the solution with proof points, facts and figures • Write and develop clear and persuasive, sales proposals and presentations that will be client-facing, including supplier registrations, request for information responses, request for proposal responses, online proposal submissions, and other client-specific formats. Includes preparation / production of physical presentation materials for clients • Utilize proposal automation software to generate proposal drafts, while working closely with the sales support team to customize proposals based on client needs and stated objectives • Contribute to pitch decks and client presentations where necessary • Contribute to the development of Statements of Work on winning opportunities • Maintain a keen understanding of marketplace intelligence trends, competition etc. to provide market leading perspectives, emerging trends, tools and techniques that can be effectively utilized to develop and promote business What You Bring to the Role: • 5 years of BPO solution and proposal development experience • Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment • Support Sales Executives & Client Partners in securing new business • Able to forge relationships across multi-discipline groups within TTEC • Engage on detailed business issues & conceptual solutions • Leads multidisciplinary projects or initiatives • Able to challenge sales strategy & create alternative solutions • Highly developed analytical skills • Highly developed written and oral communication skills Internal bid management and coordination • Experience working closely with service delivery counterparts • Strong communication & presentation skills required • Able to prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and other sales assets • Able to write compelling solution overviews and written RFP responses • Project management skills necessary • Commercially astute What You Can Expect: The anticipated range is $100-110,000.
