Project Manager
Peckham Inc., a leading nonprofit vocational rehabilitation organization, seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects. This role involves ensuring project completion within budget and timeframes while adhering to high standards and integrating vocational training and employment opportunities for persons with disabilities or other barriers. The successful candidate will manage project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, serving as a crucial link between on-site teams and upper management. Lead planning and implementation of construction projects. Coordinate and manage project tasks and teams to align with organizational standards. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports. Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and internal guidelines. Assess and manage risks, troubleshot problems, and make adjustments as necessary. Engage with stakeholders to collect needs, present updates, and gather feedback. Manage budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation. Incorporate training and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities into project phases. Proven experience in project management and team leadership. Strong understanding of construction laws, regulations, and standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software like MS Project.
