Client Details Our client is a respected Design‑Build, Construction Management, and General Contracting firm founded on craftsmanship, reliability, and client trust. More than 80% of their work comes from repeat clients, including some of the most prestigious names in Boston's medical and academic sectors. Their civil division generates ~$50M annually with a team of ~70 professionals executing $1M-$10M sitework and utility projects, along with larger work reaching $35M. They are deeply community-focused, supporting organizations such as The Jimmy Fund, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Alzheimer's Association. Headquartered in Allston, MA, they complete 80% of their work in Downtown Boston and 20% in the surrounding suburbs. Description As a Civil Project Manager, you will: Manage civil, utility, and sitework projects typically ranging from $1M-$30M, with occasional larger assignments. Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and client communication. Support safety, quality, and compliance efforts in coordination with field teams and superintendents. Oversee document control, procurement, change management, and cost reporting. Collaborate closely with the internal BIM/VDC resources, engineering partners, and field leadership. Maintain strong relationships with key clients, including a major regional utility provider with multi‑year contracted work. Ensure project execution aligns with company standards and client expectations. Profile The ideal candidate will bring: 5-10 years of Civil Project Management experience, ideally with consistent tenure. Background in civil, sitework, and/or utilities required. Experience with small to mid-size projects ($1M-$30M) Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in dense urban environments (Boston experience preferred). Comfort working with utility clients, engineering consultants, subcontractors, and municipal authorities. Tech-savvy with industry-standard systems (Procore experience preferred but not required).
