Job Summary Guides the day-to-day activities for a team that ensures electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic servicing and efficient maintenance of production machinery and equipment, physical plant, utilities, and grounds. Ensures compliance with all regulations and company policies and procedures. Maintains a safe work environment and monitors procedures. Supervises repair and maintenance projects. Works closely with various departments to ensure efficient operations. Key Responsibilities Supervises the day-to-day activities of a team of entry level individual contributors and/or supervisors. Provides guidance, coaching, and support to ensure successful delivery of team goals. Participates in HR activities such as hiring, terminations, performance management, goal setting, team member development, scheduling, etc. Enforces and contributes to the development of systems, policies, and procedures. Prepares daily budget report for cost center. Maintains budgets in assigned department(s). Inspects jobs in process and at completion to ensure that standards of workmanship and safety are maintained, including daily releases from supply. Ensures adequate time is dedicated to the Safety Accountability Process and the Maintenance accountability Program. Oversee work order requests and the planning of a continual work schedule to maintain all company property in a safe and healthy condition to achieve the best working conditions possible for all team members. Ensure proper maintenance of facility machinery and building. Conducts safety audits, equipment audits, walk-arounds, etc. Tracks progress of open projects and ensures they remain on track for meeting all goals. Oversees capital projects. Writes CERs (claim, evidence, reasoning) as needed to support capital projects and/or partnership with external resources for maintenance and capital solutions. Directs the maintenance and repair of processing equipment, mobile equipment buildings, and grounds in a safe and efficient manner, including providing direction for relevant systems (i.e, SAP CMMS, BOSS, etc.). Develops, schedules, and controls a preventive maintenance program to maintain production machinery and equipment in proper working condition. Recommend plans, and implements equipment needs to improve production efficiency and/or achieve cost reduction. Prepares key performance indicators and attends or presents at relevant meetings. Food Safety & Quality Assurance Supervisor

Guides the day-to-day operations of a team monitoring product attributes to assure product quality is at targeted levels of the customer product specifications. Communicates with all levels of management to ensure they maintain control of the process. Identifies opportunities and supports creation and implementation of plant processes and/or product improvement projects. Supervisor CT/X-Ray

Working under the direction of the Senior Director and clinical faculty leadership, and reporting to the Imaging Manager, the Imaging Supervisor (IS) serves as a subject matter expert and is responsible for performing and/or overseeing the performance of all technical procedures within their respective modality sections. The responsibilities include coordination of patient scheduling and work flow, managing staffing assignments, providing oversight of operational activities, facilitating clinical research and educational activities, ensuring regulatory and accreditation compliance, participation in the development and achievement of departmental goals, and leads Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement activities. The IS will work with various members within the Department of Imaging, including other ISs, Imaging Managers, IT staff, faculty, technical staff, administrative support, and the Quality, Safety, and Compliance Specialist. The IS will collaborate with other departmental leaders on multidisciplinary and compliance related activities. The IS will work with Imaging Manager to create and sustain a culture that fosters excellence, impact, and discovery of innovative and novel approaches towards the eradication of cancer and related diseases. POSITION SUMMARY: Working under the direction of the Senior Director, Director of Clinical Operations, and clinical faculty leadership, and reporting to the Imaging Manager, the Imaging Supervisor (IS) serves as a subject matter expert and manages/coordinates the operations and delivery of care of designated imaging modalities at a selected site. The IS is responsible for the clinical, technical, regulatory, accreditation, and administrative aspects of daily operations of an imaging subsection (or modality) including at one imaging location, but not limited to, the oversight of operational activities, coordination of patient scheduling and workflows, technical operation of equipment, supervision of staff, staffing assignments, participation in training/educational programs, participation in organizational and departmental goals and priorities, regulatory and accreditation initiatives, and oversight of quality improvement/quality assurance initiatives. The IS will balance multiple priorities with responses frequently required in real-time and develop customer satisfaction initiatives to maximize efficient patient care and deliver high-quality services at a selected site. The IS will work with various members within the Department of Imaging, including other ISs, Imaging Managers, IT staff, faculty, medical trainees, technical staff, research staff, Nursing, administrative support on workflows and operational aspects that intersect with other imaging disciplines. The IS will collaborate with other departmental leaders outside of Imaging on multidisciplinary and compliance related activities The IS will work with their direct/indirect reports, the Imaging Manager, and other key stakeholders to create and sustain a culture that fosters inclusion, excellence, impact, and discovery of innovative and novel approaches towards the eradication of cancer and related diseases. MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a graduate of a hospital-based and/or an accredited imaging technology program (e.g., Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or MRI). Associate’s of Science or closely related degree is required (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred). Current certification and/or registration in the applicable imaging discipline required (e.g., ARRT, NMTCB, ARDMS). Supervisors overseeing multiple modalities must be registered or certified in at least one of the modalities. Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License in the applicable imaging discipline required (except for MRI and Ultrasound supervisors). 3-5 years hospital-based experience in an imaging discipline. 2 years of supervisory/management or leadership responsibilities preferred. Current BLS certification or must obtain an active BLS certification within 90-days of hire. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Serves as the principle subject matter expert on their respective imaging discipline/modality. Working with patients, patient family members, imaging technologists, physicists, imaging faculty, administrative support, and imaging leadership, the IS continuously evaluates and strives to improve operational efficiency and quality of service. Works with supervisory and management colleagues across the Institute as well as network affiliates to ensure seamless communication and coordination across imaging disciplines and location of services. Works with the Imaging Manager to develop site-based FTE count and daily staffing assignments and process requests for vacation, personal days, leaves of absence, etc. and prepares staffing schedule in advance to provide adequate staffing levels to manage the workload. Manages unexpected vacancies (sick call, bereavement, emergent situation, etc.) and effectively adjusts staffing schedules with contingency plans and on occasion, serves as a secondary backup staff and participates in clinical duties to ensure business continuity. Exercising financial stewardship, the IS will work with the IM to plan for, and manage, operational and capital expenses for their respective site. The IS will work directly with the Imaging Manager to develop and implement strategies to achieve volume and revenue targets while managing expenses with an added goal of improving cost efficiency. Working with clinical research staff, the IS will implement technical procedures and imaging protocols specified in clinical trials. The IS will oversee any necessary training and compliance activities required for clinical research trials. The IS will provide support to the Imaging Manager for all Human Resources related work including developing/assessing staff needs, recruitment, initial and ongoing training, professional development, staff engagement and retention activities. The IS is responsible for annual performance appraisals of direct reports as well as, competency assessments, disciplinary actions, and compliance with all training, health screening, institutional/departmental policies and procedures. Working in close coordination with the Imaging Manager and serving as a subject matter expert, the IS ensures their specific modality and location meet all regulatory and accreditation requirements issued by agencies that include, but not limited to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, American College of Radiology, The Joint Commission, and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Radiation Control Program. Areas of non-compliance are reported to the Imaging Manager, and the IS and Imaging Manager will work collaboratively to develop an action plan to meet compliance. Addresses patient/family feedback and complaints by working with Patient Family Relations team. Participates in investigations, such as a root cause analysis, identifying opportunities for improvement, developing and implementing corrective action plans, and communicating with the patient and/or family member. Leads site-based quality assurance/quality improvement activities, patient satisfaction, timely appointment access, etc. and develops improvement plans if results are not meeting expectations. Assesses equipment performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinates necessary maintenance activities (service calls, PMs, etc.). Assists Imaging Manager and other key stakeholders to harmonize efforts/results across all locations. Responsible for superior performance of site-based imaging equipment, information systems and related interfaces. Takes action to ensure systems are maintained for optimal performance. Communicates imaging service disruptions and restoration activities to clinical staff and applicable customer bases. The IS will be assigned to serve as a point of contact for a particular imaging location but will be expected to travel and work at other locations on occasion. The IS will be responsible for attending management meetings, participating on various committees, and leading staff meetings. To ensure seamless communication, the Imaging Manager work with the IS to communicate pertinent information horizontally to peers and vertically to front-line staff, managers, supervisors, faculty, Director of Clinical Operations, and Senior Director. Performs all other duties and responsibilities as directed. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills to effectively work with direct reports, peers, colleagues, and various teams. Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills are required. Attention to detail is a must. Excellent customer service skills. Technical skills associated with the IS primary scope of responsibility. Advanced knowledge of medical imaging and regulatory/accreditation compliance. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises technologists, Lead Technologists, Program Administrators, and/or others associated with the ISs primary scope of responsibility (e.g., Imaging Supervisor of CT is responsible for all CT technologists). FTE counts vary from modality to modality. PATIENT CONTACT: Direct patient contact. The Imaging Supervisor is expected to perform clinical activities within their respective modality in times where staffing levels are not adequate. DYNAMIC WORK LOCATION and SCHEDULE ASSIGNMENT Fully on-site The typical work schedule is day-shift, 4-5 days/week, Monday thru Friday, with occasional off-hour work as needed. At the discretion of Imaging leadership, flexible schedule options may be offered. This role includes travel to other imaging locations (e.g., Longwood, Chestnut Hill, etc.) SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS: This role includes potential exposure to radiation, chemicals and other hazards inherent in the operation of a radiology operation. About the Role: The Medical Design Director plays a critical role in the development and optimization of medical and deployable health care systems. This position involves designing, analyzing, and implementing safe, reliable, and efficient oxygen delivery in a deployable healthcare delivery in diverse environments. The Director will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate modular systems, including facility design, and medical gas delivery systems ensuring patients receive optimal medical care while adhering to stringent regulatory standards and safety protocols. The Director will also contribute to documentation, testing, and validation processes to support compliance and operational excellence. Ability to troubleshoot either on-site or remote: medical gas systems, electrical, plumbing, low voltage, and IT issues that are installed in our units. A Military background is desirable.
