Job Purpose The Imaging Specialist will ensure all patient encounters are received and prepared for scanning in an accurate and timely manner. Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and the ability to work with physicians and other healthcare providers is essential. Duties & Responsibilities Verify receipt of all inpatient and outpatient discharged records utilizing reconciliation measures and following up on missing records to ensure they are received in a timely manner Strong attention to detail is critical when prepping paper chart for scanning while confirming the patient name, medical record number and account number are on every page in the chart, front and back Initiative to repair forms as needed such as torn, wrinkled, folded and dog-eared pages is expected Ensure the integrity of the legal medical record by removing all staples and paper clips, identify and separate multi-part forms prior to scanning the original Copy all damaged documents so that they are fed through the scanner without difficulty Scan all paper documents within each medical record is critical Responsible for troubleshooting repairs and routine maintenance of scanner. This may include replacing and ordering parts, taking appropriate action when the scanner is not working properly and cleaning the scanner with appropriate cleaning solution and materials as needed. If you are interested in this Interventional Neurology RN position, please contact Lindsay at 5867107959 or [email protected] Interventional Neurology RN Compensation · The pay for this position is $3,000.00 per week · Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment · A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Interventional Neurology RN Highlights · This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs · The required availability for this position is 8-hour day shifts with on-call rotation (1 night per week, 1 weekend per month, and holiday coverage) Interventional Neurology RN Responsibilities Provide nursing care in a high-acuity Interventional Neurology / Neuro IR setting Assist with stroke intervention, thrombectomy, coiling, and neuro angiography procedures Perform patient assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital policy Deliver pre- and post-procedural education to patients and families Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EPIC Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Interventional Neurology RN Requirements Active Illinois RN License Graduate of an accredited nursing program 3 years of RN experience 1 year of ICU / Critical Care experience Cardiovascular Interventional experience required ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications NIHSS certification Must successfully pass EKG exam prior to completion of orientation High School Diploma or GED Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Interventional Neurology RN Preferred Qualifications Previous Interventional Neurology / Neurointerventional experience EPIC EMR experience Strong critical thinking and ability to manage complex cases If you think this Interventional Neurology RN position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me – feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
