Job Duties Knowledge of the Magnetic Resonance imaging process and safety in the Magnetic Resonance environment. Prepares and positions patients for Magnetic Resonance procedure; thoroughly explains exam and answers patients' questions. Performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures including neuro, body, and extremity, following protocols set by a Radiologist. Performs venous access on all patients requiring IV contrast administration as directed by a Radiologist. Enters necessary data into Radiology Imaging System, IDX Imaging Suite, and Picture Archive Communication System Image Management Systems. Processes images as necessary. Ability to identify anatomy on images. Performs quality control tests of equipment; reports any irregularities. Notifies Team Leader and appropriate maintenance personnel of equipment malfunctions. Shares the responsibilities for ordering supplies; notifies appropriate personnel of supply levels. Acts as a Radiology liaison; provides radiological support to physicians as requested; refers problems to Team Leader. CT Technologist -Nights

Job Summary $20,000 sign on bonus for eligible applicants Tues- Friday No weekends This posting reflects an opening for a CT Technologist I and we are seeking candidates for that position. Under general supervision of the Radiologist and the following established duties and responsibilities, performs CT procedures to acquire digital images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Plans and performs all CT procedures and post processing using advanced technology based on clinical criteria, anatomy and established protocols. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range in their assigned clinical area. Ensures protocols are based on guidelines and CT scanner’s integration into the program that compiles dose data from each scan performed and notifies the user when a scan exceeds specific preset levels. Job Duties Provides technical expertise to operate CT Scanners, power injectors and computer systems to acquire images for use by the radiologist in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. CT technologist must maintain the knowledge to operate different CT Systems at multiple locations. Maintain protocols that are based on Image Gently Guidelines and CT scanner’s integration into a program that compiles dose data from each scan performed and notifies the user when a scan exceeds specific preset levels. Maintain vast knowledge of all clinical histories to match appropriate protocols and knowledge of all major organ systems and vascular systems for Thoracic, Abdominal, Pelvic, Neuro systems and Muscular Skeletal. Obtains CT images according to established protocols. In doing so, ensures the patient is properly prepared, positioned, immobilized, protective shielding used when applicable and correct technical factors are selected. Perform CT Interventional Procedures. Performs CTA imaging: Carotid, Head, Vertebral, Run-Offs, PE critical bolus timing, including Advanced CTA studies such as TAVR(Trans Catheter Aortic Valve Replacement), EVAR(Endovascular Aneurysm Repair) and Cardiac imaging. Maintains working knowledge of pharmacology to ensure lab results are obtained prior to scheduled exam. Maintain knowledge of physiology needed to produce quality scans when ideal conditions cannot be met. Maintain knowledge of physics to lower patient dose on CT scanner. Interpret technical factors to increase quality or speed of scan. Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Qualifications Certifications: RCS or RDCS or Vascular ARDMS BLS within 30 days of hire Education: Associates in Radiology, Sonography, or Related Field Work Experience: Accept New Grads Responsibilities Performs high quality two-dimensional ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels, along with identifying EKG abnormalities and/or arrthymia. Utilizes knowledge of age specific needs of patients in performance of everyday duties and responsibilities. Understands complimenting imaging and/or doppler techniques, including when to use these methods to investigate specific clinical questions. Knowledge of patient positioning, breathing techniques, position and direction for positioning of the transducer to ultimately give the best visualization of the cardiac structures. Proficient in recognizing abnormalities in structure and function, in distinguishing normal from abnormal findings, and in recognizing imaging artifacts. Knowledge of gross and sectional anatomy. Demonstrates use of M-Mode technique for measuring the cardiac dimensions at precise times of the cardiac cycle. Estimates the severity of the valvular insufficiencies by mapping the dimensions, orientation, and directions of the regurgitant jet with the color flow doppler. Assess the blood flow through the heart, including increased velocities, stenosis, regurgitations and shunts with the pulsed and continuous-wave doppler. Uses contrast echocardiography in cases where two-dimensional and color flow are suboptimal. Evaluates left and right ventricular systolic and diastolic functions and documents wall motion abnormalities. Recognizes rare, common, simple and complex congenital heart malformations, acquired pathologies, possible outcomes of palliative and corrective surgical procedures. Completes the study according to updated protocols, recognizes the needs and presents additional views, calculations and measurements when necessary. Uses segmental approach while obtaining the images of the cardiac structures in four echocardiographic windows: parasternal, apical, subcostal and suprasternal notch regions. Operates the ultrasound equipment, including the function of all controls affecting the quality of the data displayed. This includes knowledge of the key controls to expedite the study and produce interpretable images (TCG, focus, gains). Selects the transducer best suited to the structures of interest for optimal resolution and adequate penetration. Obtains, reviews, and documents pertinent patient history, physical examination and supporting clinical data to facilitate diagnostic results. Correlates clinical history with exam to be performed and consults with the cardiologist for clarification. Monitors, records, charges and communicates appropriately utilizing computerized documentation system. Prepares, instructs, assists the patients, and produces the images in a timely manner for dobutamine and exercise stress echocardiograms. Assists the cardiologist in performing transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE). Communicates results to the cardiologist and responds to possible questions and concerns in a timely manner. Maintains monthly correlation studies and monthly statistics. Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot and report equipment failure. Participates in mobile echo/vascular service regionally. Participates in callback rotation. Assists in performing functional, pharmacological cardiolite, and echocardiography stress testing. Documents procedures correctly. One of the goals is to promote safer encounters between citizens in need of crisis services and police department personnel while maintaining a high level of professional service. The other main goal is to refer to, and encourage participation in, appropriate mental health, substance use, or other needs-based services that may fit the individual. These duties are critical to an overall healthier, safer community and are aimed at facilitating more stable community members. This position provides crisis intervention services/assessments/evaluation and stabilization/case management to people in a primarily community-based environment in collaboration with the Peoria Police Department (PPD). This role will include field response into the community in collaboration with the PPD, likely several times per day, to provide mobile mental and behavioral health services to citizens within the city of Peoria, Illinois. This role will consist of supervision of Licensed Social Workers and Licensed Clinical Social Workers, clinical oversight for staff, continued follow up and case management to connect citizens to ongoing services and supports.
