Description As the Superintendent - Ground-Up Retail, you will work on-site across the Denver metro area, partnering closely with the Project Manager and regional leadership to deliver multiple repeat-client projects. You will: Lead day-to-day site operations for ground-up and fit-out retail projects from mobilization through closeout Coordinate and supervise all trades on site to ensure quality workmanship, schedule adherence, and cost control Enforce a strict safety culture, conducting regular toolbox talks, inspections, and site documentation Read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules, proactively resolving issues before they impact cost or programme Maintain clear communication with the Project Manager, owners, inspectors, and vendors to keep everyone aligned Manage inspections, punch lists, and turnover to ensure a smooth handover and strong client experience Help embed the company's values-driven, relationship-focused culture as one of the first field leaders in the Denver market Profile For the Superintendent - Ground-Up Retail we are seeking: Minimum 5 years' experience as a Superintendent (or strong Assistant Superintendent ready to step up) on ground-up retail or similar commercial projects Solid background running small-box, pad site, or multi-site retail programs (e.g. automotive service, shops, restaurants, banking, early education, or similar) Strong understanding of construction means and methods, schedules, and sequencing for ground-up work Demonstrated commitment to safety, site organization, and quality control Ability to work independently, make decisions on site, and represent the contractor professionally with clients and inspectors Collaborative, low-ego attitude with a desire to help build a new regional presence and positive jobsite culture Based in, or willing to relocate to, the Denver metro area and work full-time on site Job Offer What's on Offer: Base salary: Approximately $90,000 - $100,000, with flexibility for an outstanding Superintendent Bonus: Strong performance-based bonus potential, with many team members earning $20,000 - $50,000 annually Package: Company truck and fuel card, phone, laptop, and company credit card Benefits: Comprehensive medical and related benefits package Environment: Direct, supportive access to experienced regional leadership and a stable backlog with repeat clients Career growth: Opportunity to become a founding field leader in a new market, with clear progression as the Denver operation and office team scales Urgency: Multiple projects scheduled to start in quick succession-priority given to Superintendents who can onboard in the near term and help drive the first wave of work.
